According to me, it is not at all informative. The logo of a company should reflect
the vision and purpose of the company. When I saw the logo, i was able to correlate match stick with word”Spark”, but “why” Spark was not clear. Something very important and big is missing.!!
my first impression: nice clean font – reminds me of th PIXAR logo, the mirroring effect on the bottom, gives it a solid ’standing’ on the ground and follows the ‘trend’ in UI design
second feeling: matchstick somehow gives an idea but I think is not the right metaphor you want to use – matchstick > fire > destruction (?) maybe to create something new, yes, but for me it means potential danger, it has a negative association for me
food for thought: why not going with a bow of sparking light, like your group is full of loaded energy – I think of the electrostatic machine we had in physics, when you touch it the energy ‘jumps over’ to the outreaching hand (or led stand up your hair… just kidding

I agree. A lit matchstick makes the message more powerful and more complete.
